Director, Inventory and Quality
Control - Fulfillment: Logistics & Operations
General Description:
The Director of Inventory & Quality Control
will partner with the Operating VP with all facets of start-up
activities.
Key Accountabilities:
 | Responsible for the management of Inventory Control operations
including but not limited to; physical inventory planning, CEB/WMS
balancing, cycle counting, and product moves. Very strong emphasis
on leading initiatives to maintain the highest levels of stock
accuracy, control processes, and reporting standards. |
 | Lead a quality-assurance team across all departments and processes
to ensure the highest levels of quality standards are maintained;
focusing on leading quality-improvement programs, quality training,
and detailed reporting. |
 | Oversee all aspects of theControl Office, Advance Receiving Office (ARO),
and CEB Offices in support of company profit objectives and customer
service goals. |
 | Direct ARO operations including but not limited to; scheduling of
all incoming dock appointments, preparing manifest problems and
keyrecs, coordination of MIO issues, major detail error reporting,
carrier claims, ARQ/POQ resolution. |
 | Manage Control Office operations including but not limited to;
returns and queue processing, RTV processing, NIL clerical
processing, and FTC compliance. |
 | Monitor FTC compliance and standards for D2C, through reporting,
communication and training |
 | Maintain relationship of customer service through
Clients Credit and
Customer Service Group, Clients Transportation Operations, vendor
community, and D2C operations to ensure maximum customer
satisfaction. |
 | Responsible for the management of vendor compliance and standards
operations including but not limited to staff communications, staff
balancing and work assignments, work scheduling and processing,
throughput levels, and processing standards. |
 | Ensure departments meet or exceed performance requirements in the
areas of FTC compliance, safety, shortage, cost control, quality,
processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service and
execution to plan. |
 | Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data
to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.

 | Partner with outbound operations to reduce damage and wrong item
shipped issues, while identifying and resolving discrepancies
|
 | Develop, maintain and monitor all accuracy, service and quality
programs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and
monitor effectiveness of training programs |
 | Interact with Clients Systems & Technology as primary user on systems
development and refinement to improve operations, productivity and
service levels. Provide a safe work environment for staff and
enforce safe/smart work practices, while complying with AOSE and
safety program. |

High-level understanding of Six Sigma or Lean

WMS Project Manager
The WMS Project
Manager will work with our off the shelf WMS product WMS that is marketed to
manual and some automated warehouses with low complexity. Projects are
typically about 6 months in duration. Familiarity with warehousing and
distribution is a plus.
Requirements:
Sales
 | Work with sales Managers and Systems Development (data analysis and
design engineering) by recommending systems solutions, pricing the
software and document the proposed customer processes for the quoted
systems. |
Projects
 | Support Project Management as a project team member on software
related activities:
 | Determine customer functional requirements for new systems |
 | Author/Review technical functional specifications |
 | Interface with Our and/or 3rd party developers |
 | Stay involved with the project to help with customer questions,
integration and interfacing issues, etc. |
 | Systems Site implementation (possibly developing and/or
conducting training, acceptance tests and resolving problems
encountered at the site) |
 | Review final documentation deliverables |

Customer Support
 | Assist 24x7 customer service staff to resolve systems related issues
at customer sites. Perform site surveys to determine where existing
customers can make improvements with their systems, possibly quoting
additional work or changes. |
Preferred:
 | Networking and Interfacing to ERP systems such as SAP is helpful |
 | Warehouse Management System experience - NOT Data Warehouse -
Red Prairie, Manhattan, ExE, etc. |
Must Have:
 | Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Oracle RDBMS &
PL/SQL, Systems Networking and Interface Protocols |
 | Use of scripting tools to capture and analyze data |
 | Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX, C++, .NET |
